Organize clients with workspaces

Create a workspace for each client or brand to keep their accounts and posts apart.

A workspace holds social accounts, posts, brand voices, and analytics. In Client A's workspace, you only see Client A's accounts and posts, so nothing gets mixed up when you manage several clients. Billing and credits stay in one place: your organization.

When to use more than one workspace

  • Use several: you manage several clients, like an agency, or different teammates handle different brands.
  • One is enough: you run a few of your own accounts.

If you only want to group accounts inside one workspace, you can use account groups instead of more workspaces.

Switch workspaces

Click the workspace name at the top of the sidebar to open the list, then pick a workspace. If you have many, search by name or number.

Click the star next to a workspace to set it as your default workspace. This is the workspace that opens when you sign in on a new device or browser. It is your personal setting and does not affect anyone else.

Create a workspace

The organization owner can create workspaces.

Open the create dialog

In the workspace list at the top of the sidebar, click Add workspace. You can also go to Settings → Workspaces → New Workspace.

Enter a name and type

Set the name, type (such as Client, Brand, or Project), language, and timezone, then click Create.

The number of workspaces you can create depends on your plan. See the limits for each plan on the pricing page.

Workspace settings

In Settings → Workspaces, you can change these settings for each workspace:

  • Language and Timezone
  • Default Account: the account that is selected first when you create a new post
  • Default Analytics Period: the period that shows first when you open analytics

Move an account to another workspace

The organization owner can move a connected account to another workspace in the same organization. The account's drafts, scheduled posts, published posts, and brand voices move with it.

  1. In the sidebar, open Accounts.
  2. Click the account to open its menu, then choose Move between workspaces.
  3. Pick the destination workspace, check what will move with the account, and click Move account.

Group accounts within a workspace

If one workspace holds accounts for several clients or brands, you can put accounts into named groups. When you write a post, accounts appear by group, and Posteady warns you if you mix accounts from different groups.

Create groups on the Groups tab of the Accounts page, or use Set group in an account's menu.

Delete a workspace

In Settings → Workspaces, click Delete Workspace. Only the workspace owner can delete it, and you cannot delete your last workspace.
