Create a brand voice

Let Posteady learn an account's writing style, so AI drafts sound like you.

A brand voice is the writing style that Posteady learns by analyzing an account's posts. It captures the profile concept, patterns in your best-performing posts, your target audience, your writing style, how you open (the hook) and close (the call to action), and the topics you cover most. When you create a draft with AI and pick a brand voice, the draft is written in that style.

You manage brand voices on the Brand Voice page in the sidebar.

You create a brand voice for each social account, so connect a social account first.

How to create one

Pick an account

In the sidebar, open Brand Voice and pick the account to create a brand voice for.

Choose a method

Click Add Brand Voice and choose one of the three methods below.

Start the analysis

Set the name, the period to analyze, the number of posts to analyze, and other options, then click Create Brand Voice. When the analysis is done, your brand voice is ready.

MethodChoose it when
Analyze My Profile and PostsYou want to keep this account's current style. Turn on Analyze top posts only to learn mostly from your best-performing posts.
Reference Other AccountsYou want to write like another account. You can reference public Threads, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, or TikTok accounts that have at least 5 posts.
Load Existing Brand VoiceYou want to reuse a brand voice you already made for another account.

The two methods that analyze posts use credits.

Accounts with few posts

  • If an account has fewer than 5 posts, you see "Only a few posts". You can still click Create anyway, but the brand voice gets a "Low sample" badge because there was little to learn from.
  • If an account has no posts, it cannot be analyzed. Start with Reference Other Accounts instead.

Up to two per account

Each account can have two brand voices: Brand Voice A and Brand Voice B. For example, make A informative and B more casual, then pick the one that fits each post.

Edit, rebuild, or delete

You can see your brand voices on the Brand Voice List tab.

  • Edit: change any section yourself, then click Save.
  • Re-create: analyze recent posts again, or rebuild the brand voice with another method.
  • Delete: remove the brand voice.

Write with a brand voice

In any dialog that creates a draft with AI, pick one under Brand Voice. The list only shows brand voices for the account you picked. See Create posts with AI.
