Posteady at a glance
Learn what organizations, workspaces, social accounts, and brand voices are, and how they fit together.
You will see four words a lot in Posteady: organization, workspace, social account, and brand voice. Each one sits inside the one before it.
- Organization: the top level, where your plan, billing, and credits live
- Workspace: a working space for one client or brand
- Social account: a Threads, Instagram, or other account connected to the workspace
- Brand voice: the writing style learned from that account's posts
- Social account: a Threads, Instagram, or other account connected to the workspace
- Workspace: a working space for one client or brand
If you run a few of your own accounts, one organization with one workspace is enough. If you manage several clients, like an agency, create one workspace per client.
Organization
The organization is where your plan and billing live. When you sign up, Posteady creates your organization and your first workspace for you. The Organization name you enter at the start is the name of this organization. Use your company name or your own name. The organization owner can change it later in Settings → Organization.
The organization holds these things:
- Plan and billing: you subscribe once for the whole organization. Every workspace in it uses the same plan.
- Credits: everyone in the organization shares one credit balance. See Credits.
- Limits: the number of social accounts, workspaces, and people you can add is counted across the whole organization. See the limits for each plan on the pricing page.
A person can belong to only one organization.
Workspace
A workspace is where the actual work happens. Each workspace has its own:
- Connected social accounts and their brand voices
- Drafts, scheduled posts, and published posts
- Analytics
- Members and their roles
- Settings such as language, timezone, and default account
So in Client A's workspace, you only see Client A's accounts and posts. To switch workspaces, use the workspace menu at the top of the sidebar. To create and organize workspaces, see Organize clients with workspaces.
Social account
You can connect Threads, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook accounts. A connected account belongs to the workspace you are in. See Connect social accounts.
Brand voice
A brand voice is the writing style that Posteady learns by analyzing a connected account's posts. It captures things like the topics you cover, your sentence length, and your tone. When you create a draft with AI and pick a brand voice, the draft is written in that style. You manage brand voices on the Brand Voice page in the sidebar. See Create a brand voice.
Members and roles
You can invite teammates or clients to a workspace. There are four roles: Owner, Manager, Member, and Client. You set the role for each workspace, so one person can be a Manager in workspace A and a Member in workspace B. See Invite teammates and clients.
Credits
AI features use credits: creating drafts with AI, analyzing a brand voice, creating carousels, and generating AI images. Writing a post yourself and scheduling or publishing it does not use credits.
- Your plan adds credits every month. Posteady uses the monthly credits first, then any credits you topped up.
- Topped-up credits never expire.
- Your remaining credits are on the credit card at the bottom of the sidebar. Click View credit usage history on the card to see where you spent them.
- To see how many credits each feature uses, open the Credit Usage Guide on the Credit usage page.
