Create carousels
Create an AI carousel from a link, text, a topic, or a file, then polish it and download or post it.
A carousel is a post made of several images that people swipe through. Add your source material, and Posteady's AI plans each slide and creates the copy, images, and design. Polish the result in the editor, then download it or post it to several channels.
Open Carousel in the sidebar to see your carousels and templates.
Create a carousel with AI
Open the create dialog
At the top of the screen, click New Post → Create Carousel, or click New carousel on the Carousel page.
Add your source
Choose Link, Post, Text, Topic, or File. You can use an article link, one of your published posts, notes, a one-line topic, or a document such as a PDF. In the next step, you review what the AI read.
Choose a design
- AI design: AI creates the design to fit your content.
- Template: fills the design of a template from Posteady templates or My templates with your content.
Generation settings
Set the aspect ratio (1:1, 3:4, 4:5, 9:16, or 16:9), number of slides, language, images, and brand. Leave the slide count on Auto to fit it to your content. For images, choose Free images or AI images. Pick a brand voice to write the copy in that style.
Create it
With AI design, you can click Plan carousel to review and edit what goes on each slide first. Click Create carousel to start. With a Template, click Generate copy. The editor opens as soon as the first slide is ready.
You can also click Create carousel on a draft card in Studio to turn the draft into a carousel.
Start from a blank carousel
To design from scratch without AI, click New Post → Create Blank Carousel. A blank editor opens.
Polish it in the editor
In the editor, change the text, images, and background of each slide. Your changes are used when you download or post the carousel.
Download it
In the editor, click Download to get all slides as a ZIP file or a PDF. To get one slide, click Download slide.
Post or schedule it
Create a post
In the editor, click Create post.
Pick accounts
Pick the accounts to post to. You can pick a brand voice for each account to write the caption in that style.
Post or schedule
The post editor opens with the carousel images attached. Post it now or schedule it the same way as in Publish and schedule posts. If an account allows fewer images, remove the extra images in the post editor.
Make your own templates
Save designs you use often as your own templates:
- From a carousel you like: on the My templates tab of the Carousel page, click Extract template and add a carousel link or image files. Posteady pulls out the layout and styling and saves them as your template.
- From a carousel you made: in the editor, click Save as template.
Credits
