Connect Perplexity
Connect Posteady to Perplexity as a custom remote connector.
Once connected, you can publish and schedule posts to Threads and X — and check how they performed — right from a Perplexity thread.
Before you begin
- A Posteady account — you'll sign in during setup. MCP connection requires the Creator plan or above.
- Remote MCP connectors require Perplexity Pro, Max, or Enterprise. Set up on Perplexity web.
Add the Posteady connector
1. Add a custom connector
In Perplexity, click + Custom connector (top right of the connectors area) and choose Remote.
2. Enter Posteady's details
| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Name | Posteady |
| MCP server URL | https://www.posteady.com/api/mcp |
| Description | Publish & schedule posts to Threads/X and view performance |
| Authentication | OAuth |
| Transport | Streamable HTTP |
3. Approve access
Perplexity opens the Posteady OAuth screen. Sign in (if needed), review the target workspace, and click Allow. The connector then appears in your list, ready to use.
4. Use it in a thread
Enable the Posteady connector, then ask in plain language, for example:
- "List my connected accounts"
- "Schedule a post on X for 9am tomorrow: 'Launch day -1'"
- "Publish this to Threads and X now: [your text]"
- "Show last week's posts with views and likes"
For actions that actually post — publishing, scheduling, canceling — review before you approve.
