Connect Grok

Connect Posteady to Grok with a custom connector at grok.com.

Once connected, you can publish and schedule posts to Threads and X — and check how they performed — right from a Grok chat.

Before you begin

  • A Posteady account — you'll sign in during setup. MCP connection requires the Creator plan or above.
  • A Grok account with access to custom connectors. Set up at grok.com on web; once connected, it works in the app too.

Add the Posteady connector

1. Open Connectors

Go to grok.com/connectors (or Settings → Connectors).

2. Create a custom connector

Click New Connector, then choose Custom.

3. Enter Posteady's details

FieldValue
NamePosteady
MCP server URLhttps://www.posteady.com/api/mcp

Grok connects over Streamable HTTP — Posteady's endpoint already meets this.

4. Approve access

Grok opens the Posteady OAuth screen. Sign in (if needed), review the target workspace, and click Allow. Grok then discovers Posteady's tools and makes them available in chat.

5. Use it in a chat

Ask in plain language, for example:

  • "List my connected accounts"
  • "Schedule a post on X for 9am tomorrow: 'Launch day -1'"
  • "Publish this to Threads and X now: [your text]"
  • "Show last week's posts with views and likes"

For actions that actually post — publishing, scheduling, canceling — review before you approve.
